Here are the new times!

• 7:00am    setup  
  8:00am    Registration opens and testing starts
  9:30am    NO NEW REGISTRATIONS AFTER THIS TIME
  10:00am   NO NEW TEST ELEMENT STARTS AFTER THIS TIME
  11:00am   Close the doors 
  12:00pm   End of Paperwork

 

New Rules:

• Pre-registration is requested - but not required. We will offer all
  elements.  Element 1 (Morse code element) is offered using standard ARRL Farnsworth tapes through headphones.  If request is made at least two weeks in advance, the AV-VE team will make every attempt to accommodate special needs requests (non-Farnsworth CW, test readers for blind or dyslexic, etc).

 

To take the exam, you must bring the following:

1. Photo ID
2. Original and photocopy of CSCEs (Certificate of Successful Completion) of previous Exams, if any, toward the next class license.
3. Original and photocopy of your current license (if any)
4. Ballpoint pen and two pencils
5. Test fee is $12.00 (exact change or check payable to ARRL/VEC)

Cost of the examination is $12.00 for the session and covers all FCC

elements taken. (You can take all four elements for the same $12.00 - if

you are really-really good and really-really fast :^) Per ARRL rules,

participants are allowed to re-take a failed element (time permitting).

But, they will be asked to pay the $12.00 testing fee again.
